| Bio: | There's a saying on a cup I once received from a friend that describes me almost perfectly: "Du wanderst gern, zu jeder Zeit. Kein Ort zu fern, kein Weg zu weit. Warum du das so gerne tust? Das liegt an deiner Wanderlust!" It roughly translates to "You like to move around anytime. No place is too far away, no way is too long. Why you like to do this? Because of your wanderlust" - Ha, until now I had no idea "wanderlust" was an English word as well! I was born in Germany and I now live here again. Between finishing school and now, I've been to several different countries to live there for a while (USA - 4 1/2 months, UK - 6 months, Hong Kong - 2 months, and I'm grateful for all the experiences I have made during these stays. I hope that I'll be able live abroad again. That's where the wanderlust comes in :) Right now, my RL is pretty insane, so I'm escaping to the wonderland of journals. It's good to see that everybody else has their share of problems as well. It gives me some much needed perspective, and I'm hoping to meet some nice and interesting people here who will turn out to be great friends. My other escape is Harry Potter, especially the HG/SS pairing, there is just so much potential there. For everything :) I am attempting to write fanfiction in that department, but I'm still very a bit nervous about my writing skills, though. Oh, and before I forget it: I'm not married and I don't have children. To both: not yet ;) I'm still waiting for data man to pop the question (we've been together more than six years already) and hope that we'll one day have a family on our own. Some other random information: I already have a degree, but I'd love to study English literature. I am the kind of person who offers seats to the elderly and hugs complete strangers when they look like they need it. I don't like violence, war, injustice, prejudices and corruption.
